Other than finding a good spot to park close to the building, this location was sooo amazing. We loved the sunrise and the view of the ocean from the lanai was great. Everything we needed we had available. My girls even enjoyed the hot tub. The moon on the ocean was so beautiful. I sat on that balcony for hours.

From the description of the property on the VRBO website to booking to check out, our experience with the owners and the home they shared with us was stellar! We have stayed at Islander on the Beach before, and this unit is THE BEST. The space is extremely clean, the view is amazing, and we couldn’t believe how well-equipped it is. The bed and pull-out-sofa-bed are comfy. Lightning-speed wi-fi, appliances and tools for the little kitchen area, plenty of beach towels and fun-on-the-beach supplies – they have thought of everything! (Take the binoculars onto the lanai and look for whales . . .) The owners are very communicative and helpful. We will return!

Luved our room! Very clean. Very nice. The grounds were beautifully kept. Ocean front. Just gorgeous. Only 2 minor things….the grills did not work…3 grills…1 did not work at all, 1 did not have a igniter, and 1 would not get hot. The grills were a plus when booking and did not deliver. The other one is either a bigger hot tub or another one….always 2 full of ppl. Overall it was great stay diffently will b back here when visiting the island again.

It was so wonderful waking up to a beautiful sunrise in the morning, and in the evening having delicious fish tacos from the Sleeping Giant with a glass of wine on our lanai. The condo was perfect…. the pool area, the convenient location next to all the shops, the wonderful coffee shop close by!! Everything was just so nice!!!

Indescribably perfect. The hosts are supremely generous with ALL the information they provide and they foresee any and all possible questions or out of their control mini situations that could come up. Three Days in Paradise. The apartment was perfect for us! The view from balcony was stunning. We enjoyed the sunrises especially. The area was perfect for strolling along the walkway or renting a bike in Coconut Marketplace and following the water north along the bike path. There were great coffee shops and convenience store and gift stores very close by. Our hosts gave us great suggestions which we followed and thoroughly enjoyed. If in the area would love to stay here again.

Paradise Found. For our 18th wedding anniversary trip we selected Heather and Khaled’s perfect beachfront studio. What a great choice! Centrally located to everything, truly a romantic getaway spot on Kauai. Clean and organized with amazing instructions and owner support, this space is perfect for a couple “on the go”. The resort has a beautiful beachfront access and guests have the ability to walk for miles up and down the coast right out the door. The pool is well maintained and the grounds immaculate. The Coconut Marketplace is literally out the front door, with a handy market for daily needs and fun eateries, including the Sleeping Giant cafe that suited our vegetarian needs. And for fun dining on the beach, the Lava Lava Club is right next door. We have traveled to many VRBO properties and are former hosts ourselves, and never have we had such a comfortable, competent nor complete guest package as we received here. Mahalo Heather and Khaled for making our special trip the most wonderful ever!

Picture Perfect Paradise. This resort is very well maintained, grounds, pool and hot tub are meticulously kept and very lovely,, and on our 3rd floor lanai, we had the most spectacular views of the ocean, the entire pool and tiki bar area, was just mesmerizing! Our unit itself, #334, had EVERYTHING a person could need to make meals and to actually “live” comfortably. We will be back!

Awesome place to stay. This is our second time staying at this resort and we have nothing bad to say. We have been to Maui and we would come back to Kauai before going there again. Good location, great suite & amenities, organized & helpful hosts. Islander on the Beach is a nice development of several buildings, with an outdoor pool and hot tub, right on the water in Kapa’a, and next to an outdoor shopping center. Kapa’a is a good location for exploring Kaua’i because it’s kind of equidistant from the two furthest points on the island.
Heather & Khaled are the most organized hosts ever! They send detailed emails, have some how-to YouTube videos for their unit, and even have a website with info about their unit and Kaua’i. Especially great is that they have beach gear for you to borrow: snorkels & flippers, beach mats, cooler, beach umbrella, & beach chairs. They also have some great books, including guidebooks, about Kaua’i. You could literally just show up and start exploring Kaua’i.

Khaled and Heather’s place was easily hands down the best airBNB we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we booked their place they had great communication with us. They had so many thoughtful touches, including the most detailed guide book! We also appreciated the beach towels, beach bag, and beach chairs. The location was also perfect, we weren’t too far from the north shore or south shore. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping near by! I can not recommend Khaled and Heather’s place enough.

An incredible place to stay while traveling to Kauai. This place has it all! An amazing view from the balcony, perfectly close to the coconut Marketplace without being too close, and very close by car to many island amenities and sights! We really appreciated the communication with the owner as well. It’s a great place for two people. I’d highly recommend!

It is an interesting cross between airbnb and a resort. You get all amenities as if staying in a resort and you get the good communication, clear instructions and care from the airbnb host. The location was perfect, easy access to different places, nearby stores, also liked the view from the balcony very much. Made a nice start of the day for us!

The view of the ocean was amazing. Spent a lot of time on the balcony just watching the waves and specially on the rainy days. A beautiful pathway in walking distance for walking and riding a bike. The resort was clean and beautiful. Over and all it was awesome.
